SOPEC Electric Aggregation Program

Shawnee residents and small businesses participating in the SOPEC Electric Aggregation Program will see a new rate of $0.09756  per kWh starting with the June 2025 meter read. This updated rate reflects 100% renewable energy supply and is lower than the June 2025 Standard Service Offer from AEP Ohio, which will be $0.0997 per kWh starting June 1, 2025.

Residents and small businesses already enrolled in the electric aggregation program do not need to take any action. To confirm your enrollment or check eligibility, contact SOPEC’s supplier, AEP Energy, at: 1-877-648-1937.
